Ontario Ministry of Health - IT Manager of the Year Award 2005

Created a documentation repository and case management and workflow management system to manage OHIP subrogation files. The system encompasses digital file intake, file routing, scheduling, correspondence, timelines and problem escalation. Results: increased monies collected, reduced case durations, allowed management to assess performance based on collections and activity levels. The government IT Manager won the Canada Computing IT Manager of the Year Award in 2005 for this project.

The Colson Group, Chicago - 45 Companies, 3-Person Finance Team

Created a two-step, multi-tier workflow system for international accounting across 45 companies worldwide. Step one (flash) provided management reports within 3 days of month-end. Step two provided fully consolidated international results within 7 days, with sign-off complete in less than two weeks - all managed by a head office Finance Group of only 3 people.

L A Darling Store Fixtures - Featured in Horngren Cost Accounting

Provided a multi-plant integrated, automated profitability reporting framework with summary and detailed actual revenue and costs by division, customer, product, and supplier. Included workflow component for manual data collection and integration into manufacturing, accounting, and sales applications. The resulting repository ensured appropriate margin and competitive advantage. These Improvements were featured in Charles Horngrens Introduction to Management Accounting textbook.
